Diabetes Control



If you learn to control your diabetes, it will have less control over you.

Diabetes is a serious disease which damages nearly every part of the body. While it can’t be cured yet, it can be managed.

Left untreated, diabetes can lead to heart disease and stroke; as well as blindness; tooth decay, kidney failure, and amputation to limbs due to verve damage.

To help avoid these and other serious complications, you need to manage your diabetes. This includes: Following the diet that your doctor recommends; Losing any excess weight; Quitting smoking; and getting at least 30 minutes of exercise every day, even if it’s just walking around the block.
